Sherborne has just introduced some very smart signs to make it easier for visitors to find their way around our pretty town. The signs can be found at the entrances to the main car parks and on buildings and locations throughout the town centre. We hope you enjoy them.

Now in its 16th year, Classic & Supercars can now be regarded as certainly one of the premier classics and supercar shows in the South of England with upwards of 2,000 cars on display, from veteran and heritage vehicles to the latest supercars. In the last 5 years the show has raised £171,000 for national and local charities.
A host of attractions include over 1,500 private classic and supercars on display. Motor club and trade stands, an autojumble, craft fair, catering village, a private Members area and a quality classic car auction by Sherborne based Charterhouse Auctions. This classic car show attracts visitors from around Dorest, Somerset and the wider West Country. Dorset Moon schools competition window displays on show from 26th June throughout Sherborne20/6/2019
The new Sherborne Independent market held in the town on Sunday 16th June, proved a huge success with visitors flocking to the town centre to look at the wide variety of independent traders showing their fine goods.
The pop up eco supermarket held in the Digby Hall was full of visitors enjoying the eco friendly items on display as well as sampling dome fine locally produced food. Everything from artisan bread to tasty curry dishes was to be found. Initially a one off, we are sure that this will not be the last time this market will be seem. Watch this space!! |
